I’m 46 years old, attractive but overweight, and my career aspiration is to become a receptionist in a beauty salon-taking appointments, restocking the dry towels and products, etc. I’m not kidding. While most beauty salons do prefer hiring someone who already has the needed knowledge and experience, there are some beauty salons out there that actually like training their own employees. That is why it is advised that you always be on the lookout for a job opening, especially one that doesn’t have any prior work experience or education requirements.As you can see, it is more than possible for you to get a job as a beauty salon employee, should you wish to do so. What you also need to remember though is that working at a beauty salon isn’t the only beauty focused job or career opportunity that you may want to look into.
